He is from Germany, has worked all his life, more than 40 years in the travel & tourism industry. He worked in Germany for Airtours International, Hapag Lloyd Cruises, in Switzerland for Imholz Travel, Kuoni, Grand Circle Travel in Boston, USA and TUI Travel Switzerland before he left finally to Asia. He worked for Incoming Tour Operators in Morocco, Oman, was for 3 years in Vietnam for Asian Trails followed by another 4 years in Myanmar where he started his own DMC. As the demand grew for South East Asia he rapidly expanded to other countries and established ASIA BESPOKE TOURS as DMC network in 9 countries with head office in the Philippines. He has extensive contacts through all branches of the travel industry through most countries in the world. Manfred has a deep knowledge in tourism, strives to deliver the highest standards in all the projects he works on and his attention to detail ensures the best possible results for his clients as well as for his professional team. She is originally from the Czech Republic. She started her long career in the hospitality working for different hotels in the UK. Later she changed to travel business and found 2015 her passion for South East Asia when she moved to Vietnam and was responsible for Business Development at Asian Trails Vietnam and later on to Myanmar working for leading DMCs. Traveling is till today her biggest passion. Karolina is responsible for developing new business contacts with travel agents & airlines in Europe, attend different travel shows as a company representative and to support with the global sales strategy. She is working closely with her colleagues throughout Asia to ensure our clients across the globe are provided with the services they need to create inspiring travel experiences for their customers.

I’ve worked in the travel industry for over 5 years, including as a Visa Officer in one of the largest companies in Asia and the Middle East and as a Government Visa Provider in different countries.

My greatest & most memorable travel experience: Port Barton, located in the beautiful island of Palawan, Philippines, stands as one of my most cherished travel destinations. The moment I arrived, I was captivated by its serene atmosphere and pristine beauty. Unlike the more commercialized spots in Palawan, Port Barton offers an unspoiled and peaceful vibe, with its crystal-clear turquoise waters, white sand beaches, and towering palm trees swaying in the breeze.
The tranquility of the place made it easy to relax, whether lounging by the beach or enjoying the breathtaking sunsets that painted the sky with hues of orange and pink every evening. Exploring the nearby islands by boat, I discovered hidden lagoons, vibrant coral reefs, and secluded beaches, each more stunning than the last.
What made my experience even more memorable was the warmth and hospitality of the locals. I had the privilege of interacting with friendly fishermen, small-scale entrepreneurs, and other residents who made me feel at home in their community. One of the most unforgettable moments was a guided trip to a nearby waterfall, where I had the chance to swim in a natural pool and enjoy a refreshing dip. The small, intimate nature of Port Barton made every encounter feel special, and I left with not only stunning memories of the landscape but also a deep appreciation for the island’s simple enriching lifestyle. Pim began working in the travel industry in 2001 as an English Tour Guide and Leader and in operation management. She started as a Tour Guide/Tour leader from 2002 – 2005, leading tours all over Thailand, and then worked with Khiri Travel from 2005 – 2019 as Branch Executive.
